the days of our lives then..
the school opposite havin their ECA day.its the first day of school.the respectives err..i tink i got it wrong..now they call it CCA rite?gee...im feelin old.aniwae the respectives CCA are showcasing their stuffs to the freshies,the sec 1s.coz iv been hearing songs played from the military bands, drums from the lion dance,siti nurhaliza(not again) cindai prolly from the malay dance grp and from my window i could see the scouts pitchin up tents and all those obstacles shit.

haiz...it seems like only yesterdae. i could still remember da ECA orientation back at the alma mater when i was in sec 1. i was so awed by the various uniform group.i only had the military band and NCC grp in mind. those days were the best and i guess the most innocent and fun-filled days of our growing up years.da caramaderie was really felt during inter-school competitions.being a band member at that time was something to be proud of. well, the school's military band was one of the best and was in the top three spot.saturdays was spent at the school field, rain or shine ,practising and perfecting our footdrills and formations..it was tiring but at the end of the day it was all smiles tho.we were all very devoted to the band. it was like one big family cuz our band's actually a combination of two school's bands.at the nearin of a competition,u will see ex band members comin back to help the juniors wif the preparation.on competition days,we were all proud marchin into the stadium in our smart black uniforms.
20 over years of winning,the traditional BT band theme march song can always be heard after a breath taking performance at the national stadium.its all memories now...cuz the band has spilt up.the glory days of bukit panjang-teck whye military band
